Forestry mulcher MGL light LW

The light forestry mulcher is a good compromise between the lower price and its capabilities. This is why it is primarily intended for clearing partially overgrown pastures and other agricultural land.

Specially designed flails for wood enable better grinding and also offer the possibility of a universal application of the flail mower.

Smooth operation is enabled by an electronically balanced rotor with patented Low Vib (LW) distribution of the flails. This ensures a reduced source of vibrations, minimum bending deformation and stress, which extends the service life of the flail mower.

Equipment:

  • High-quality double skin case
  • Added screwed high-strength and wear-resistant sheet metal in the inside of the housing
  • Fell protection pole
  • Hydraulic hood opening/closing
  • Rounded skids, reinforced with high-strength wear-resistant sheet metal, enable work in both directions of travel (forward, backward).
  • Dedicated counter knives screwed in two lines
  • Rubber flap and chain protection
  • Adjustable speed of all hydraulic movements
  • Automatic belt tensioning
  • Adjustable operating height
  • Rear mounted
  • Gearbox with free wheel

Advantages:

  • Specially designed flails for wood enable better grinding and also offer the possibility of a universal application of the flail mower.

  • Hydraulic opening/closing of the hood makes it possible for the rotor to come closer to the bushes and trees.

  • The higher-quality double skin case gives the machine’s construction robustness and durability.

  • Smooth operation is enabled by an electronically balanced rotor with patented Low Vib (LW) distribution of the flails. This ensures a reduced source of vibrations, minimum bending deformation and stress, which extends the service life of the flail mower.

  • The Low Vib (LW) patent allows for a faster rotation of the rotor at a higher circumferential speed of the flails, which significantly enhances the effect of mulching.

  • A special form of replaceable dedicated counter knives screwed in two rows improves the effect of fragmenting during mulching.

  • A reinforced shield further protects the belt drive against damage.

  • The gearbox with a free wheel protects the drive of the tractor and enables the use of a traditional PTO drive shaft.

  • They are robust and durable and therefore suitable for use in difficult operating conditions.
